The top problem of the conventional (pearlite) steel is the brittleness, which is the greatest threat to railways (e.g. flexible switch rail) safety, as it is with higher carbon content and different heat treatment process.
Due to the quenching process, the high hardness of the conventional material is only on the surface, while the hardness of the rail is even more and higher. Therefore, our product has higher abrasion resistance and will have longer lifecycle.
High impact resistance under harsh operating conditions can also extend the rail lifecycle.
E.g.- Our steel Frog’s unit price is twice as conventional material, but our steel’s average service is 2.8 times according to the record data.
Our steel’s longer lifecycle will reduce the changing and maintenance cost of the rails.
The rail launch information is very important for maintenance and resale. The code scanning function is designed while relevant launch information shall be filled in during scanning, and the GIS data will be automatically collected.
The on-site maintenance information and patrol inspection data of the turnout can be effectively collected and recorded. All quality problems, defect information with related pictures will be recorded.
